“The Champions faced Humans here. Surfing their agile lino into a casualty causing crowd looked to help but they still had 2 agile catchers in reserve. Santo scored relatively quickly before the Blitzers could get at him.
On their drive they were risking some equal strength hits, but they did well and also cas'd a skink who we apo'd. Diablo succeeded in blitzing and ko'ing their carrier but the thrower retrieved and got the ball forward to his fellow thrower to score.
Elly's Favorites then blitzed forward and killed our diving tackle skink! Spartacus followed that up with double skulls too. Santo managed to side step a hit but the human who picked up just failed to keep his feet when going around Santo and doing gfis.
Second half, as Zoebugs says, it was tough! Barbarus, a saurus was killed too. By a rookie Blitzer. We seemed feeble and Diablo spent too much time dumb. They sailed around us, though in the end needed a chainpush to get the score.
There was still some time to come back but Santo fumbled! We end up 3-1 down. After a good run we suffer defeat and deaths. We will return!
