“I really enjoyed this match. Took a lot of thinking (at least on my part) but it felt quite balanced, having two orc teams rather than radically different play styles (see "agility teams running through me like a knife through butter" or "bash teams clearing the pitch in the first half").

Got the kick off, which really helped, and luckier, got a touchback on the kick off so could get the ball straight to my thrower. Was very cautious in the first half (before, I would have sprinted and left the ball carrier exposed) and then ran the ball in with a couple of heartstopping GFIs in the 7th turn.

Then in the second half, was able to use my Guard Black Orcs (I love Guard Black Orcs now) to pin him down and stop much movement. Left my right flank open, but did enough to stop him advancing in there, and when my strip ball blocker got in close, it was pretty much over apart from desultory SPP farming (which my team failed to do anything with). Now to go and try to relax after almost two hours of concentrating.

Good opponent. Beset by horrible dice (even on rerolls) several times, but carried on pushing me all the way to the end.”
