“The Crookfangs travelled to the Chaos wastes for their second ever game and found a tough opponent waiting for them in the Leidbringer Liga. True to their name, Leidbringer were ready to bring the pain with their Ogre Mort leading the way, backed up by the Minotaur Goat and the Troll Gronk.

Fortunately for the Crookfangs, they managed to entice the legendary Morg'n'Thorg to turn out for this game to even up the odds a little.

Leidbringer won the toss and chose to receive, gathering the ball and setting up a driving play which resulted in many of the Crookfangs sprawled across the turf or worse, and led to a touchdown for the renegade Lineman Shagrath towards the end of the half. After receiving the return kick, Crookfangs attempted a counter-drive but some foolish passing attempts in their backfield meant that the halftime hooter sounded before they could progress.

In the second half, Morg'n'Thorg charged after Goat the Minotaur while the orc Thrower Igga gathered the ball and surged forwards. Mort the Ogre completely forgot where he was for a good amount of time allowing most of the Orc offence to surge past and set up a scoring position. Meanwhile, Black Orc Rock Ed took the opportunity to smash Gronk with a blitz and take him out of the game.

Following the kick off, the ball ended up in the backfield in the hands of the Renegade Goblin Igor. Blitzer Ghazgut Gorg saw an opportunity following a turnover and blitzed Igor off the ball, eventually managing to catch the bouncing ball and dash in for the winning score. The same drive saw Morg'n'Thorg hit Goat so hard he suffered permanent concussion and took no further part in play.

The last play of the game came with Leidbringer attempting to set up Igor to be thrown towards the endzone, but Mort completely failed to understand the plan and dropped Igor backwards.

The players that still had hands left after the game shook them and the Orcs got out of the area as quickly as they could!”
