Vikings tried... they really did... and there was a plausible shot at a 1-1, but a failed 3+ dodge (with a reroll) put an end to that dream, and we instead saw a glorious long bomb passing play for an instant 2-0 from the elves.
All that mighty blow and tackle still only won the blocking game 52-44 and actually only got 1 casualty for all that effort, compared to the more successful blocking and fouling done by the elves.
The spammed side step made it very hard to use the frenzy pieces efficiently, for risk of getting a 1d block on the follow up block.
Good learning experience, I get some ideas for how to develop my elf teams from this! Nice chat with opponent as well, be happy for a rematch any time!”

I took dumb risks that paid off and the norse cas machine just couldn't get goin.
Plus the chef didn't kick in.
