Star player Hubris was KO'd almost as soon as he set foot on the pitch, in a dismal showing that meant he really wasn't worth what I paid for him. Two linos and a bribe would have been much better.

Assassin Hausa had a good game, with her first credited casualty (non-stabbing) and touchdown.

Necro coach played a nice, conservative stalling game at the end of second half, using his pieces very well. Elves made him roll some dice to get the final touchdown, but to no avail.

It's a strange day when an elf team wins on both blocks and casualties against Necromantics, but such was Nuffle's will today.
