“7th game for the gobbos and their first win! Opponent was from our Neighbor land across the Öresund strait.

Exciting game against a Pact team which managed to get two of its big guys KO'd early in the first half, and they never came back. We discussed the matter and determined they were probably afraid of the gobbos.

Secret weapons were great as usual. Bomber less great than usual, but still fun.

Gobbos were up on blocks (31 vs 29) and fouls (7 vs 2) and drew some blood on many of them.

In the end, the gobbos managed their first successful TTM score ever, ferrying the ball from 3 or 4 steps behind the LOS to a strategically placed goblin, then lobbing him to where he didn't even need to GFI to score! Many things needed to go right for it to work (including "resisting the hunger" as it says in the status window) but it did and it was awesome!

... and we just picked up a doom diver! Will be interesting to see the plays he opens up.
