“Elves were great. Gobbos were not... on the bright side, the two ball and chain players stayed on pitch for 7 and 4 turns, respectively, and the bomber KO'd a player early on. Blocking troll Rya also had a pretty good game, blocking 10 times (but not getting those sweet casualties that he loves).
Some good ball placement on kick-offs made life very hard for the goblins, and the elves were soon able to swarm in, grab the ball and make off for the end zone, even on the gobbos' drives.
Elves won the blocking game, the passing game, the casualty game, and the game game quite resoundingly.
Gobbos did win the throw team mate game (it's important to choose your contests).
And they did win the fouling game 9-0, which was quite satisfactory to them.
One AV- gobbo, Maj, won't be playing blood bowl again after a particularly vicious elf block.
Thanks for a friendly game.”
