“Violent affair... undead put some pressure on the lizzies in the first half, gang fouled the krox on turn 2 to Badly Hurt... and the big lizards kept falling, despite the ministrations of the apothecary. Two MNG, one stat decrease (that doesn't matter since he's AG1 anyway), and a more painful niggle on a saurus. One of those casualties was on a failed go for it, so not on me, but most of the rest was from repeated, merciless gang fouls when they were up on numbers.

Undead were pressured well by the lizards even at the end, when they were down to three skinks in play... they got two dice on the ball carrier (a dodging ghoul), but that wasn't enough to bring him down.

The most satisfying play was the last one, setting up to chain push the side stepping skink with 3 dice to clear a path for the ball carrier so he didn't have to dodge. Not a sure thing (90% to succeed with a reroll according to Samba Action calculator) but a good play.

Opponent kept up spirits despite my hot casualty dice thrown against him! Happy to play again! And when he gets those sauruses blocking and guarding, he will be a frightening opponent.”
