“Coming into the game I knew I was playing a great coach who had a better team than mine. I knew I would have to play smart but need some help from the dice. It was one of those games where it felt my opponent had the advantage throughout. While I was able to take the opening kick and score, I was forced to do so early. My first help from the dice came on the blitz after my score. That enabled me to keep a 1-0 lead going to half. Second half I was dominated. But I was saved by the fact there were no big injuries and my key players remained available. The dice helped me out a second time when I made a desperation move to get the ball loose. Ultimately, it was of no avail and we went into OT tied at one. I was down 9 players to 11. But after first turn it was 9-10. Shortly into overtime I had the advantage of 9 players to 8, and for the first time I felt I could win. No doubt the dice favored me in overtime. MenonaLoco played great throughout, but the Baggers kept fighting and somehow pulled this one out. A tip of the hat to MenonaLoco. I know we will meet again.”
