“As usual, a fun and friendly game against Rictor and his awesome flings. Probably first time I faced Deeproot, and he was great!

Thanks to the trees' dominating presence on the pitch, elves lost the blocking and fouling games big, 38-29 and 7-1, respectively. On the other hand, the 'flings broke easily once we put the hurt on them with our tackling, frenzying mighty blow players, and once we got Thor Odinson off the pitch the game became easier.

Maithili, the somewhat hobbled (MA-) killer, was brought back from the brink of death by the apothecary after the coach hesitated for what seemed to the team like an eternity to decide... he's just too good to lose!

Wrestling lineman Hakka will be missed, of course... but better him than Maithili, who's one of my very best players at the moment.

Flings were on their way to equalize when my MA8 frenzying blitzer ran after the ball carrier and brought him down (using one of my precious rerolls, then grabbing the ball when it bounced loose). As usual in this game, you need the luck sometimes...
