“The Champions came up against Undead who were missing their ag4 Ghoul, and have a -st + st mummy in their lineup. But with a +ag Wight,and a lot of Block and Tackle were still a threat. In fact they surprised us with an early blitz. They had hired Hack Enslash who blitzed and stunned Superiore. But they weren't past our line. Santo picked up the ball and we regrouped in our half. Rio Grande ko'd a zombie. Santo then raced off while most of the players fought further back. He did a brief stall but with Spartacus knocked down and then gang foul stunned three times in a row we decided it safest to score.

The Undead setup, with their chainsaw player now banned. A ghoul fumbled but eventually got the ball. Some of our players got into their half and surprisingly he decided to retreat. The half ends 1-0 and a Ghoul had been banned from joining in the fouling. Though he had managed to fracture Rio Grande's leg, which could have been important for the 2nd half.

Second half they were knocking us back well but another angry zombie was sent off for fouling Spartacus. Spartacus really absorbed some beatings today. Diablo followed that up with a double skulls, showing his unreliable side. The Alien Endeavour then moved up the flank and decided not to take the opportunity to score. Instead holding steady. That allowed us to pressure and eventually cause a retreat. Spartacus failed to take him down but in the end 3 skinks pushed the Ghoul out of scoring range when he tried to break away. He still had chance for a handoff to a zombie. But he died when he tried to dodge past Ultimatos on the way! Superiore then knocked down the Mummy and Santo even added to his growing fame by giving back a taste of fouling medicine. He fractured the Mummy's legs!
So we end with a hard fought 1-0 win.
