“This was the last game of season7s regular part. Both teams faith has been decided, Patriots in playoffs, 49ers missing it by a small margin, so all they had to play was pride.

This was a game where not the usual suspects manned the typical jobs, like lineman passing, blitzers catching, and so on. This huge scramble drill seemed to favor Patriots this time. Some call luck, others call effort (like Pats were beaten previously by Griffins, and coach run them on the hill as 'coaching point'). Anyway, the whole game was encompassed by the turn8 play (and score) by Patriots. Bruckamner picked up in tackle zone, dodged out, went for it, completed a tight spiral for a midrange pass (what a beauty it was), then Bostic came down with it, and ran for the score. EASY!!!

Similar, but less special plays happened liberally, thus Pats score 3-0.

Now the playoffs await after a bye week. On to that round, whoever it brings. (Likely either the above mentioned Griffins, or the constant overachieving Razorbacks.)
