Coach Luo was contemplative as he wandered down the leaf-littered path in Viridian Forest. The lack of opposing trainers was getting him down, and he watched a leaf twirl down in front of him with a singular lack of interest.
But then...

Wild Wood Elves appeared!

"YES!" cried Luohghcra, his manipulator limbs waving wildly in joy. "Alorkazm, GO!"

Alorkazm was keen after his long break, and he speedily leapt into the fray with an almighty TACKLE! It sent the elf Chris Pine back to the forest from whence he came, but the Orkydex was silent. Not mighty enough, Alorkazm!

Orks and Wood Elves casually struck at each other, as if almost bored. GolOrk chased the inflated oblate hide-thingy around, clearly distracted.

Strangely familiar WarDancer Prof. Oak ran down and used BLITZ on JigglyBlorc.

It's super-effective!
JigglyBlorc is Stunned!

Taking advantage of the Orcs failure to keep up, the Wood Elves strike from all directions. Prof. Oak once again steps forward, and used LEAP on GolOrk (who has since managed to hold onto the bouncy-sportsball).

"GolOrk, come back!" cried Luohghcra. "ExOrkute, I chose you!"

ExOrkute used HAMMERBLOW!

It's super-effective!
Douglas Fir II has been knocked out!

But still the Orkydex is silent. These Elves are made of sterner stuff, it seems.
Again the teams trade off, and the scrum in the centre of the pitch widens. Finally beset, the Wood Elves fall to the leaf-strewn forest floor as the Orks deliver stunning blows. Prof. Oak leaps onto his own face, and Orkachu, suddenly finding himself with the sportsball wanders over a line in the organic detritus and hears a faint cheer on the wind.

Finally, ExOrkute steps forth and delivers a nonchalant BLOCK.
It's not very effective, but William Hideoushammer falls to the ground.

+++Wood Elf Lineman casualty, confirmed. Updating Orkydex. Orkydex updated.+++

"Enough, ExOrkute. Go, Snorklax!" Luo confidently throws down the Orkyball, and Snorklax, with out-of-character speed and finesse throws a brutal BODYBLOW at the hapless G'Day Spruce.

Spruce leaves the field of play, but his galvanised teammates score twice in quick succession. Deprived of the opportunity to add more entries into the Orkydex, Blorcasaur is sent forth to address the situation...

Blorcasaur uses INTERCEPT! Blorcasaur's AWESOME went up!
Blorcasaur uses Short Pass...

It's Super Effective!

Alorkazam CATCHES the ball, and once more the cheering, as of a thousand voices hollering for blood, is heard on the sylvan breeze.

With much merriment and the feeling of a job well done, both teams go their disparate ways.

Gotta cas 'em All!

Coach Luo has a much better report, that summarizes the match quite well, but I'd like to take this opportunity to say that he is an absolute joy to play against, and he even managed to make me (almost) WANT to lose, just for the flavour and watching some highlight reel plays. That being said, the woodies are a prideful bunch and can never actually lose their will to defeat their foes, no matter how charming they may be.

One of the most enjoyable games I've had against a random foe thus far, if you get the chance, I highly recommend playing against this coach. There were plenty of highlight reel plays, both epic fails AND stunning successes. This is a game that's more about banter, goofiness, and having fun than winning/losing and this match up was truly a testament to those values. Thanks again for the game and I look forward to our next encounter!
