“
The first half the Sluggers, buoyed by a mixture of amphetamines and other amphetamines, managed to survive every injury roll thrown at them, and almost had a couple of shots at Bortles, but through bad luck then utter incompetence both went by without the 1db being thrown. Then again, if you're talking about 1d blocks, maybe they weren't really shots after all. One-turn attempt got to the first of several 4+s before failure.
Second half was a mess, as well organised D robbed Sluggers of their set start, and forced a scramble-offence. That offence then imploded when greed overtook prudence and Slugg left a blitz free on Patterson, ball loose, more scrambling, Pats safe. At the end, some epic misfortune almost opened an opportunity, but for once Moore missed a pass, and regardless, it would have been ill-deserved
“Season7 Conference final between no1 and no2 seeds and the only KFC teams that made the playoff in previous season as well.
Patriots drove first, and even though the aggression did not turn into positive results, managed to do a perfect stall, but not without difficulties. Fouling did not work either, cage was contested, Ogre fail happened at inappropriate time, but Bortles walked in with a Block into the endzone while he was swarmed by Sluggers.
Second half started with a perfect defense which shut down any obvious path of Sluggers towards endzone, and also advancement. When Slugg wanted to create some space he rolled pushes, but got double pow. From that on Pats players kept sacking sluggers players, and at some point Johnson was able to cage or walk in. Elected to stall for 1 turn, but next turn due to a misclick, Taylor tripped. Johnson was sacked and permed (cant repeat often enough that disaster wait at every corner). Sluggers could not secure the ball, and had no chance to score. Game ended 1-0 with some minor scuffle without further injuries.
On to the superbowl, Clifton comes back, but Johnson wont participate. ”
