“The Champions faced an impressive Orc team with only 2 defeats in 27 matches. Lots of Guard, S4, and an ag4.
Santo caught a short, high kick and Spartacus ko'd a lineorc, while Diablo stood dumb. The Orcs got at us and we did some weak blocks and a few dubious choices, while a skink was badly hurt. Diablo was staying idiotic. Santo was tagged but him and support just managed to pull across from trouble. It was tricky with blitzers making chase but Santo just scrambled to find the space to get through to score.
The Orcs came back. We managed to repel their wide line, and due to a slight Orc error Spartacus could be blocked free and managed to blitz down their carrier. Pintxos ran forward with the stolen ball. Unsurprisingly Orcs mobbed him down. Santo still had a chance to pick up and pass the ball but the pressure was too much and he fumbled.

Second half Barbarus was soon cas'd. They hit well and got the equalizer.

We had taken out 2 Black Orcs but setup 9 v 11, and hoping for a winner. But it wasn't long before we were crowded and Santo was blitzed down. He recovered and took the ball for a desperate charge forward. Alas taken down again. Still a chance remained. This time he managed the pickup and pass (with rr) ..but it was dropped. Needed that last 4+!

Great match. Chances to win but challenges too. Happily Spartacus is now recognized as a superstar.
