“What to say about this game?

It looked really bad early on in the first drive, being 3 players down after just a few turns, plus having used the apo to save David Brown on turn 2.

Then numbers evened out with some lucky breaks, but things were a mess. Maextu was truly legendary, and won this game - apart from 4 cas he made at least 2 KO I can remember. He came in and knocked the ball loose, and it bounced two steps into Ranger hands. We got it down again, and after some lucky parts, Alvin was running for the endzone. Maextu again with a hit. I had a chance to push my ogre and run 2 gfi into the endzone, which worked, then we needed 4+4+3+4+3+4+4+ to get the ball there! Made it most of the way, so it got exciting.

Second half we could field 11, which was good. Started good too with perfect defense and a weak Ranger beginning. New ogre knocked himself down, but rerolled (!) and stood up. This lead to 1d block sending out a blitzer for me next turn and perhaps making all the difference for the drive. Very good reroll that.

Cas rolls were horrible, mostly. Happy to not have more serious injury to the team... lost a LoS lino, and Kayvon's career will not last long after this.
