“A good game against a fun opponent. My Elves did wonder at the padding on the Ogre's gauntlets, soft and squishy rather than the spikes and iron that they were used to. Only late in the game, as the padding got worn, were two Elves badly hurt, but not seriously. So the two apothecaries continued their chess uninterrupted by the screams of the dying or the moans of the maimed.
Replying in kind, the Elves treated the Snotlings as kindly as they could, for a bunch of arrogant, conceited beings convinced of their own superiority over tiny Greenskins. So they failed to hurt a single one, despite their fragile nature.
The game was close run in the first half, the Elves having to work hard to score late on. A lucky break in the second gave them their next, helped by continual Boneheads amongst the Ogres. Who may not be so pacifist next time. ”
“First half the ogres did a good job, running around and trying to stop the fast elves, but second half they got tired and had to sit down and catch their breath.
Since the ogres couldn`t brake the elven armour the two apos didn`t feel needed so the sat down had some wine and played chess instead.
When it came to armour, the small snotlings had their strongest and finest saucepans on their heads this match so the elves couldn`t hurt them either.
Good game , lots of laughs, next time I hope my ogres will do some real damage and take their ovenmittens of their hands :)”
