“A fun game with lots of thinking involved, nice friendly coach even when I was doing my best to batter his Skaven apart. I expected we'd have a shoot out and each be scoring every other turn, but cautiousness prevailed. The Nice Chaps are, unfortunately, a team built to kill gutter runners, and we were merciless today. Quite what I was thinking fouling a rat on the last turn when I was 2-1 up I don't know - not very gentlemanly.

My asssassin is new and I'm less convinced by him. An awful lot of stabbing went on to generally very little effect, and he's rubbish at shadowing gutters, but when there was a last gasp chance for the game to draw 2-2, he finally did his thing and stopped Copper Knob getting away to the end zone.

This may, or may not, have been good preparation for me to play my dwarfs on tabletop this afternoon. We shall see...”
