“Second game for our Skinks and it was against a dirty Saurus using Lizardman team! Thousands of skink fans braved the awful weather to support their team on. The torrential rain throughout made the normally mediocre ball handling skinks even worse!

Opponent received first, ball deep in their half, struggled to pick up. Skinks swarmed, managed to separate the team out, couldn't pick the ball up and an opposing skink ran off with it but we managed to recover it and we were guaranteed a score except a skink failed his dodge to make the cover and of course the blitz got through. They recovered and I had lost too many skinks to stop them but managed a few attacks on the ballcarrier but not bringing him down.

Second half we scored quick and early down the near side and then set up and got a blitz. Charged under the ball and screened behind. Managed to get the ball off the opponent and score.

A good win for the Skinks, no injuries or deaths! Hurrah! Wish we could have managed to keep a clean sheet though, need to work on our defence work.
