“The most screwed-up game I have ever played. I had great luck all match except for all of the 4 or 5 crucial moments of the game, every time he was able to blitz my ball-carrier and get pows and take the ball from me, yet whenever I tried I could never get any pows and sometimes got skulls instead. Every important dodge of his worked, and when I was within 1 square of getting my TD on the 8th turn of the first half, I roll 1-1 on my gfi!! That was definately the turning point of the match, meant I was down 1-0 instead of being level 1-1 and I had to press in the second half when he was kicking to try to score quickly to take a chance at the 2-1, but I couldn't make it happen because he had all the luck when it counted.

Ended up with 10 players to 1 on the field by the final turn but it didn't change anything, my mummies were all well up in my attacking half wondering when i was going to score while his gutter runner had the ball right in front of the td line to score on the final siren and make it 2-0.

P.S. Hahahaha. Take a look at the score, 2-0. You can talk all you want about how lucky I may have been through general play, doesn't change the fact that you won - which shows that every time a crucial play was made, the luck truly deserted me.

Those one or two pows or the failed gfi are the difference between the score being 2-1 my favour or 2-0 your favour ... any luck gained throughout the rest of general play not directly affecting the outcome of the match pales in comparison to such important turning points in the match.”
