“Fun game against friendly coach from eastern neighbor. The flings had two goals: finally complete their grid line (DONE!) and kill the first necro ever for this coach (NOT done, see below).

Flings pressured necros to score on turn 6, leaving two turns to TTM score... all looked set after a touchback, AG5 freak needed 3 GFI's after a somewhat underwhelming throw... and tripped and knocked himself out hard enough to sit the rest of the game out.

Second half saw a blitz from the necros, which had the flings outpositioned and soon outnumbered. Eventually a wolf with the ball ran off and was able to win 2-0 easily.

On the other hand.......

Flings (shockingly) won the blocking game 49-40 (and fouls 9-2)... and 37 of those blocks were mighty blow enhanced (!)... and on turn 15 it happened: wight blitzer was gang fouled... the blow was true, the boot was hard... "Killed". A roar went up from the fling fans, only to turn to groans of disappointment as the necromancer revived the felled foe. "Regenerates".

Junior treeman skilled up after the game, and had a choice to get +MA once again, making him MA4... but he chose the path of Guard instead, to make him and his brother more destructive in conjunction with the nasty blocking flings.

Game played in good cheer! Not exactly happy for a rematch, I think it's back to beating up elves and stunties for a while for the little guys :)... but maybe we'll meeet again.”
