“In blizzard conditions Wotfudboy's England ShouldhavebeatPortugal side won the toss (although half an hour was spent looking for the coin in the snow!) and decided to receive... thinking they were being clever and making the other side try and drive in the snow (no pun intended!).
The gamble paid off, and it wasn't long beforea loan England's Elite catcher was within blitzing distance of a blitzer, who promptly flattened him and retrieved the ball. It was then the small matter of making their way back into Elite's half and scoring... helped in part by a rather stupid Elite Ogre who really didn't know what was going on for several turns.
However, following a severe talking to by coach Mr Prezident, it wasn't long before the Ogre started making up for lost time... by the end of the game he had 3 BH's to his name!
Elite played well to equalise and on the deciding drive both teams were a lineman down. ShouldhavebeatPortugal received but, a smart move by the opposing coach at the last second allowed his team to decide upon a different line up for the kick off... and ShouldhavebeatPortugal were on the back foot from there... and the casualties and KO's stacked up (including the thrower Beckham suffering a broken bone in his foot that caused the nation to try and heal it through tabloid newspaper cutouts - SI niggle).
In the final turn an Elite catcher strolled into the endzone after watching a last gasp attempt by his opposite number fall on his face trying to get in his tackle zone. 1-2 to Elite. A well played and hard fought game!”
