“Awesome game against always friendly Mr. Motay. Frogs won, but paid the blood price for the victory. Treemen blocked like it was going out of style, and the vicious, blood thirsty flings pounced on them every chance they got.

Niggled superstar catcher Swoopy was the first to go under the heel of the frogs; apothecary could have saved him but at the cost of half his strength, and opponent coach did the only sensible thing and let him hop off into the light.

First thing that happened next turn was that halfling #5 was blocked and very nearly killed, but halfling apothecary had better snake bite juice to give.

Amazingly (and since I'd quoted the song earlier in the game and looked it up on youtube in the background), Pearl Jam's song "Alive" was playing during this very exchange of the game. Such an awesome aural backdrop to the action on screen.

"You're still alive," she said.

"Oh, do I deserve to be?"

Very rock 'n roll.

Standings between these teams is now 2/3/1 in favor of the amphibians. But for the above-mentioned blood price, the numbers favor the halflings a great deal:
6-5-7 vs 6-4-0...
