“[SL]UMBBL Cup V: round 4:

Tight game with lots of pressure on the ball and many ups and downs.

Evolved Slaanesh scored in turn 7 after a bold move, leaving 2 turns to the Dolphins to equalize. We needed a pow to get rid of a diving tackler and were lucky when we got it on a 2d blitz. Some dodging and a long pass later it was 1-1, halftime.

In the second half the Dolphins aimed for a quick score and almost made it. We opted to not go for the 2 gfi's (no more team reroll) and lost the ball. Next turn an elf recovered it with some dodging, but snaked the last one on the endline. Evolved Slaanesh got the ball and - although encircled - broke through and threw the ball to the Lord of Ashes, who dropped it. Catching the ball surely would have decided the game. Then an elf intervened and evacuated the ball, eventually leading to the 2-1 end score.
