“Ok. I walked into this match fully expecting to lose it. I had decided I would foul every turn with my highest SPP player on the pitch. I doubted it would happen. Just keeping one player on the ground to foul the entire game has kept me from getting the badge several times. This time I managed to knock down line elves and they did not leave the pitch. Almost all of my fouls came with only one assist as I hoped not to break armor and thus have more chance of the ref tossing me.

So, in the first half, my catcher Nei started the fouling. The Ref ignored 12 straight fouls from her. I fouled even before blitzing the ball carrier or attempting to score. Tonight the dice were all mine. Against all probability I managed a defensive score in the first half.

The second half I took the kick off. It was looking ok until the ref actually woke up. The only time I applied two assists to a foul and Nei got tossed. This meant Bellaluna became my designated fouler. She abandoned her place on defense and went for the fouls. She would put in 4 fouls without the ref noticing. That included a foul BEFORE the attempted dodge on turn 16 for the game winning score.

The entire game was in the snow and my players made far more than their share of GFIs.

My opponent was rightfully frustrated by the dice and the fact that I was not using standard tactics. Also, as anyone who plays me knows, I talk alot. Win or lose, I talk alot. I never, ever talk about a coach or his decisions, but I cheer every cas, foul, and TD. I talk CONSTANTLY. It is a fun part of the match for me.

To be fair, my opponent played it well. I just got the best dice I have seen in a very long time.
