“The Plebeians faced some Chaos who immediately blitzed us, swarming the LOS. A wandering apo immediately prevented our catcher Zebedee from being ko'd. We then came back strong with blitzers causing a ko and a cas of Beastmen. We managed to keep Jesiah protected and he made his way through to score.
A Chaos Warrior picked up and we blitzed forward! We kept up the pressure and eventually got him down. We made an error to pull Jesiah back just before that. Too cautious. He would have been able to pickup and score. As it was Zebedee got it but couldn't stand up to the followup blitz. We also used our regular apo on a lino to keep numbers up. 1-0 at half-time.
Their small but rowdy fanbase stormed the pitch and stunned half our side, while a Beastman picked up. We tried to hassle them but a handoff to a Warrior got them in a good spot and they equalized.
There was still time left. Jesiah and support got through the middle. After moving a Beastman aside we needed a push from a 2dblitz to leave space for Jesiah to win us the match.. but both down! Another Beastman was moved so Jesiah still had dodging chance. He did the first tough one through 2 tacklezones. Then needed a step more in space... but snaked! A double 1 to squander the win chance. He was ko'd as he fell and the match ends 1-1.

We were fortunate not to suffer any long term damage from these brutal fellas, but a bit disappointing not to take the opportunities for victory.”
