“FUMBBL CUP Round of 32 Match (Round 4).

A tough game against a tough team. The Universe absolutely smashed us and scored in Turn 8 leaving us just with 5 players on the pitch. Fortunately a deep bench and alot of KO rolls meant we fielded 11 for the final turn of the half. The fans rioted and we gained a 9th turn in which we were able to toss Snotty Ballsack to the end zone and at the half it was tied 1-1 with the Gunk to receive.

Progressing well, a critical failed block by the Minotaur Boss Taurus (both down/skull) meant Rattzinger du Pape was exposed and before you could blink the Universe snatched the ball and were away. 2-1 with one turn to play, the Goblin toss this time failed to launch and it was game over.

The irony however is the only skill up was to the Minotaur who rolled doubles and took Block. Oh the irony!

Well played to Dragons... very entertaining game and I am cheering for him to go all the way in The Cup.

PS - we also mourn the loss of Torak Ultharin, a long term mutant who was a very good nuisance player. FA/DistP and Pass Block... was always in the mix but on the bright side, his agility hasn't deteriorated in death as he now suits up for the Universe.”
