“The Newscasters.. well.. they didn't do much damage. (1 dead, 2 serious injuries, and another badly hurt, but not much damage? Yup, definitely not much damage given the number of mighty blow blocks and dirty player fouls were had.)

However, in the first half, they successfully held the ball basically every turn. They lost it on something like 5 or 6 turns as well, but they always got it back, and took out some key players in the process (only 5 elves on the pitch at the end of the half). And then.. well.. the ball was in their half on the ground on turn 8, so they just ran over picked it up, hucked it halfway across the pitch, caught it, and scored. Excellent. 1-0 for the Newscasters.

The one turn touchdown attempt was very solid, had to use a re-roll to get the pushes going.. and then our sprinter tripped on the single GFI he had to attempt.

The third half went much better for the Whispers, scoring 3 touchdowns, as the Khemri finally learned that they can't handle the ball. Without massive damage, 11 elves just elfed, and the Newscasters couldn't stop them.
