“A game as one sided as the previous match had been, however favoring the opposite team.
When Aequitas tells you his minotaur is useless, you believe him, hear me?! It may well have cost this game, as it caused to turnovers that left decent openings for stealing the ball.
However, Protocol's luck went well beyond just the unfortunate minotaur - to sum it up, the final turns will do nicely:
Ahead 4-1 at turn 7, Protocol runs above and past the Evangelist line, hoping to avoid any further injury to players, as a single TD would not affect the outcome. Turn 8 the Evangelists move the ball all the way to a hand off at the end zone, which fails, and scatters into the crowd. The throw in is back downfield, also into the crowd. The final throw in lands directly next to Protocols blitzer, just 9 spaces from the Evangelilst's end zone. A handoff and two GFI later, Protocol scores TD #5 on their turn 8.
Unfortunate dice by a skilled opponent, hopefully our next meeting will be more dice balanced for an interesting game!
Thanks for the game Aequitas, keep that stuffed cat bleeding, and may your Minotaur get his casualty next match!”
“Aye, not the greatest outting for the Evangelists. Yet, still not a bad game. Plenty of SPP's to go around! Shame about the last TD, but what can you do. Atleast FF stayed the same.
I took some risks with the minotaur, but I don't think it cost me the game, I simply didn't play good enough to win.
Good job Corporateslavemeister, hopefully those +ST/+ST monsters get what they have coming one day. :P 'Til we meet again. ”
