First half was terrible for the flings; both treemen opted to root in their very first turn of the game, and stayed that way for 8 solid turns. Predictably, the rat blitzers went to town on the hapless halflings, and their blood watered the pitch.
Second problem was my knocked out little guys had the fear of god put into them (the Rat God, that is), and refused to come back and play for the rest of the game. Very annoying.
We did both out-block and out-foul the rats, but this game will not be remembered for that. Sadly, no rat skulls were gathered for our collection, either.”
