“The game started out bad, Deaths fans went nuts when they saw the Vermin come onto the grounds, streaming onto the pitch and pounding the rats into the ground. After picking themselves up, the Vermin were horrified to find Insequor (GR) with groin strain, Facio (R) badly hurt, and two others laying still stunned.
Recovering well, the Vermin swept through with a well co-ordinated drive to score in third turn.
A stunning offensive from Death combined with bad luck and clumsiness from the Vermin made the score 1-1 at half time.
By some sort of miracle, half time refreshments was able to revive all the players for the second half.
A short punt and a missed pickup by Death enable Vermin to get to the ball, but unable to capitalise on this the ball was picked up by Death and taken through to the TD line late in the game.
Bad coaching meant that Vermin was unable to equalise on the last turn, as the Boss had positioned the players wrong.
And after all this bloodshed and heartache, there was very little prize money to be had, perhaps the crowd was feeling guilty about damaging the furry ones so badly that most left early.
In all, the worse game the Vermin have played to date.
