“'How do you solve a problem like RNG?' chorused the nuns as the Wardancer frolicked on the hillside...
'How do you catch a close match and pin it down?'
The dream of tourney play to is a close match between built teams and possibly some hilarious dice based happenings thanks to the KO format. This one didn't quite get there sadly as it was a more attritional drip drip slant on the dices that rendered the equalising drive a damp squib. Thanks to the quality of players on the field it was a great first half with the outcome in doubt right up to the end.
Clearly I've been stingy with the offerings to Nuffle and they showed displeasure through a whistle happy ref and some key KOs not BHs. A ballsy apo in the first half was not punished by further casualty and then more removals followed.
Shout out to Gregory who put in a solid game of tree hugging right up until the point at which he got the bejeezus slapped out of him and so commenced what we all hope will be a long and pleasurable retirement out the back of the cheese factory by the bins.
And a shout out to Dhakh for being a gent before during and after the match, deconstructing the action humorously. Curiously enough the trash talk took the edge off the nerves mid game! But I am a strange fish.
Look forward to a rematch in ranked sometime of something similarly matched.
The quest for glory meets another curve in the road...”
