“First loss for the Patriarchs and a tough one. They got into two great defensive positions, only for the Khemri/elfs to produce magic! The first a pickup and 6+ throw to a blitz-ra midfield> the Patriarch's zombie failed a GFI > reroll fail to enable a 2d blitz in return > Khemri walk in. In the second half the Patriarchs put huge pressure on the Throw-ra (mummy and wight marking), only for him to dodge out, produce a 1d pow blitz through a screen, then gfi twice up the wing but still wide open. Return 2d blitz by the Patriarchs - fail, reroll > fail. Throw-ra produces a 1d blitz in return and again gfi's in. Ah well thanks a bunch Nuffle (you owe me bigtime!). Well played though by Spencer - he didn't panic under pressure, had to get lucky but played it right. ”
