Gobbos won the toss and received, could have and should have scored but for a failed GFI! I cleaned up, got the ball but didn’t have enough time to get down the field, I was happy with the Half-Time score at 0-0 as I was receiving the second, and I was by far winning the removals side of the game with 3 Badly hurts and a fanatic banned to just 1 blocker ban for fouling. That one fouler must have hit the trolls it fouled hard on the head, because they failed almost all their Really Stupid rolls from then on!
Second half I did what Dwarves do! It took me a few turns to punch a hole large enough for me to fit my rudimentary cage through, but I did in plenty of time for a Turn 8 score. I spent Turn 8 punching as many Gobbos as I could for SPPs before scoring to add to my 1 Badly Hurt I’d got in the second half. I ended up killing their Bomma, but let’s give him some credit. He went down fighting- it took one Trollslayer’s block then Frenzy, then my second Slayer had a go and got his man on the Frenzy follow-up. They then had their already-dead Bomma and their Looney banned for their Turn 8, though it made very little difference as a Blitz came up on the kickoff table and I was able to knock over their one TTM-eligible goblin, therefore preventing the OTT and winning the game!
