Once more Hopokom was under a lot of pressure to prove his worth, but sadly he failed to do so. This time he wasn't ejected until later in the game, but he did not manage to hurt anyone, not even himself. Terseh, on the other hand, was deadly with his bombs, throwing them with elflike precision, and removing opposing players from the pitch many times.
The match started with Charnel Valley Ouroboros taking the offense. Pride managed to steal the ball, and thanks to some heavy shielding, and the typical slowness and clumsiness of Khemrian teams, were able to score at the end of the first half. Surprisingly, the Mahrak team had not set up a tripwire on the TD line.
After the TD, the ref decided to ban Hopokom from the game, but Terseh was allowed to stay, and toss his bombs. After the kick, the Ouroboros advanced quickly by Blitzing after the kick, leaving many Lybarasian players tied down. Despite this, a hole was quickly punched in the middle of the Mahrak defense, and the carrier surged through, with many goldplated players behind him.
But the speed proved to be a mistake. At the end, Pemkheza lost it's balance, and was knocked unconscious near the Mahrak midfield. Ouroboros were quickly able to take advantage of this stumble, and the ball was quickly carried towards the Lybaras TD line. Empowered by the trip, a Golden Host managed to bash Reptosheph so hard, that his collar bone was smashed. Sadly this meant that the career of Reptosheph was over.
But thanks to the abilities of the Stalkers, and a few blessings from Nuffle, the carrier was finally pushed off the pitch, and the ball ended near the center of the pitch, with neither team able to take much advantage of it anymore.
Thanks for the game C0ddlefish, and good luck with the rest of Spring.”
