Pats more kill than all last season? Probably not, but definnitely bigger number of prominent kills! Colemon and Taguchi are bigger scalps than uhmmm...ermm....cant even name anyone.
Huge day for Tom Goblin, doing 7 fouls, killing 1, BH 2 other, and causing some more KO. He was once stopped for a moment by a referee, but only as long as he handed over the bag of gold. Then business resumed as agreed!!
2-2 is quite a recovery, after double blunders in the 1st half. Once, a perfectly executed blitz by Unicorns. I mean REALLY perfectly executed, perfect short kick, and 100% safe recovery. Johnson leaped to try the score, but in spite of the sack on Miyers, the bounce was not going out of bounds, but in the hands of the opponent.
Then a wrong playcall (misclick) by coach....This time team management screwed up.
The game plan devolved at that point to trust the hot hand....or in this particular case, the hot leg. Tom Goblins fouling. Pats were down by 0-2 in halftime, and they needed a small miracle, and extremely hard bash to come back and have any chance for a tie...
...which happened, as after some undesired scramble, which involved goal line tripping, Pats scored, Unicorns were only able to field 11, and the rest is history.
In retrospect i feel sorry about the death of Colemon, as i wished him great success at murdering other teams....just not mine!
On to the Scimitars!
