Initially Walter'z ladz made good of the initial advantage, but got pressured into a try with a couple of lucky blitzes leaving the slammers time enough to equal the score at half time. The ratz still couldn't leapfrog ahead second half, until a last turn try with only 7 ratz on the field snuck them home! Preserving all those ratz in the reserves bin for the first few plays was a master stroke!

Good contest by the grassmen, turned out to be a really close game. Another pitiful display by the 'death' slammers on the casualty count - they may lose their reputation and finish the season with a lonely looking graveyard if this keeps up.”
