#10 Zarren Wappz – Fractured Leg (MNG)
#11 L.T. – Smashed Knee (NI)
Hello Ball fans. Travis McBooger here reporting from another wonderful day of blood and mayhem. In todays matchup, the Vantablack Vandals laid home to the fast and furry Wyrdrunnerz.
Both teams riddled with injuries, had brought in some journeymen to strenghten their game on this grey and wet day, where rain poured over the field from the first kick off.

The Wyrdrunnerz were ready to recieve the ball even though the Vandals used all their efforts to position the defense perfectly before the kick. The first minutes of the game went as expected, with the Runnerz taking possesion and quickly forming an impressive "cage" led by the mighty Mongo. But as we have seen in the first two games, the Skaven coach has not been lucky with his pick of ratogre. Mongo had barely sat foot on the Vandal side of the pitch, before his anger fuelled an attack that laid waste to nobody...but himself, sending him towards the dugout. This was apparently anticipated by the skaven coach, so the apothecary stood ready on the sideline and quickly stitched the ogre together to be send back on the field at the next kickoff.

However this left a very open door in the runner cage, which the Vandals quickly used to their advantage. The following minutes turned out to be rather bloody and messy. It appeared that the Vandals had taken their name quite literally, as it seemed that the runnerz' side of the pitch was filled with holes and traps, dealing a lot of damage to any player eating grass, in an attempt to either avoid or catch their opponents. As such we witnessed "Dimez" trip and fall only to become stunned and loose the ball, a few feet from his own endzone, as well as Zargh who in an attempt to catch the fast runner "Muscle Hamzter", slipped and fell so hard she was send off the field.
In the same minutes the ball changed hands several times as Vandals tried scoring and the runnerz tried keeping them from it, while the crowd on the sideline was going crazy as they got their hands on a couple of dirty rats. In the dying seconds of the first half Pakpao Patata took the ball to the endzone, while the remaining 5 players of the Wyrdrunnerz could do nothing.

As in the previous game, the second half became an uphill battle for the Wyrdrunnerz. Not only had the crowd by now grown so wild that they invaded the pitch before the kickoff and stunned the poor Mongo, but the Vandals were also three players up from the beginning, and the pouring rain caused the kick to end up right in the arms of the runner Chelo. And as a sign from the Dark Elf gods, the sun immediately broke the clouds and gave the Vandals perfect condition to continue their vandalism. Within the first few minutes, three rats left the field injured to both the Vandals and to their dangerous pittraps on the field. And even though they managed to get their hands on the ball for a few seconds, the Wyrdrunnerz was left to spectate, as the Vandals continued down the field for yet another touchdown, meanwhile sending another two rats to the dugout.

And even though Doogz "Muscle Hamzter" managed to find his way down to the Vandals endzone, in the dying seconds of the game to score a touchdown, it was clear as the game ended, that it could have ended up way worse for the runnerz, than a 2-1 loss.

The vandals used the advantage of the home field and their vandalism to the best. The got the upper hand quickly in the match, and even though they for a few minutes seemes a bit "shaky" and undecisive, nearly allowing the runnerz back into to the game, the did the job in the end and came out with a well deserved victory.

I pity the team, that will have to visit this somewhat "cursed" field next and I almost feel sorry for the Wyrdrunnerz who now have 2 players out for the next match, due to injuries.

This is McBooger signing off, reminding you...there is no day like a football day.
