“That rather confounded expectations. I assumed all the mighty blow on both teams would mean casualties on both sides, but nothing got damaged in the first half apart from when we killed an ogre with a regular block (and he got apo'd).

Then in the second half we almost salvaged a draw when Burger King tripped going into the end zone, but a bit of lame positioning meant a break tackle ogre got onto my thrower, and when he dodged out and tried for a perfectly safe hand-off, the catcher fluffed both rolls.

I almost had the hope of getting more casualties than the ogres did, but a few hard hits in the closing stages put paid to that dream too. Ah well. Otherwise, not so bad, nobody dead or injured apart from Gerald...”
