“Well we got absolutely diced in the first half.
We used all team rerolls to reroll failed 2 die blocks.
We attempted two GFI, failed both (normal weather).
Three players were killed (on turns 1, 3 and 5). The only good thing now is that luckily they all regenerated.
In the last 3 turns almost every block targetted at us was either STUN or KO.
Only one KO'd player got up (and it was a basic zombie).
I'm generally not a whining player, but that was damn discouraging.
We started second half in numerical disadvantage. At least our rolls in the second half were a bit better but still below avarage.
The ball landed deep in the Khemri half and no less than four players (including a mummy) went to recover it. Having nothing to lose, we went for a maximum offense - we mass assaulted a guardian, marked the two that stayed at LOS and both our werewolves and the strong ghoul went deep into the other half of the pitch. The next turns were a chaotic battle in which Khemris slapped and downed us all the time. We were getting up, moving a few steps, scoring (or not) a hit on the ballcarrier and getting downed again. After a few turns the ballcarrier closed to the LOS and got halted by a group of zombies and one flesh golem. After an ensuing chaos a ghoul managed to secure the ball and without wasting time went for the end zone in turn 5. Khemri were to slow to even the score.
GG, that was fun. Khemris gained a lot of SPPs this game :)”
