An ill-advised foul at the end of the half didn't break the throw-ra as well as we'd hoped, and lost us our journeyman. Beef, Mushroom & Spinach Wellington Bites was already out by then, so we were down to 9 men.

I had hoped we'd get the ball up a bit, but poor positioning meant we were in a lot of risk, and eventually the Tomb Kings were grinding their way to a second score. I had one last chance at a blitz (on a 5+ dodge, 1d block, no reroll) which unsurprisingly failed at the dodge, but then a vanity block at the end went to too many skulls, even on a reroll, and the match ended a tasty 1-0 loss.

Which is getting better for the Vegans. We're caging up around the ball a bit now, but still not playing sensibly enough. Hopefully sooner or later we get a bit stronger - one day we'll be able to afford a third blocker. But not today.
