“tboudot vs halby eh? we'll see, both new teams, orc vs rotters. 60k gate, nice weather, rotters lose toss but get to receive anyway cuz they are bad-ass. On the television treebeard says something boring, but gandalf elects to let the bad guy live on. The orcies set up a crazy defence of 3 bob's on the line right next to eachother in a pack, and the 2-back line covered all the way across seperated by 1 space each, blitzers on the side line and one in the middle, rest linemen, and a thrower in the backfield instead of the goblin. bad kick, touchback. The ball goes to nick doolittle, a rookie rotter, who tries to blitz his way thru a lineman but falls on his face dropping the ball, he was the only person on his whole team to move and he royally 'ed up like a rookie. bmad killer the orc thrower picks up the ball and hucks it to the lineman in the middle, that lineman runs up behind a loose cage on the top side of the field, right behind the line of scrimmage. Mark Schaubs bare naked ass manages to resist a block by foul appearance but the rest of the linemen for the rotters get knocked over. The rotters put 2 guys on the ball carrier after blitzing thru the loose cage, one guy on the frontmost orc blitzer, and 2 in the backfield, the whole strong front line stays with the bobs on the los, away fromt he play. Nick doolittle causes an orc blitzer to double skull, but a team reroll saves him, meaning that the ball's dodge away wont have the benefit of that reroll, but they don't need it, the ball makes it past the line and within 3 yards of the end zone off a hand-off and a dodge by desz the orc blitzer. gdurb skulls to end the turn but it doesn't matter cuz its away from the play. My little sister rachael manages to knock the ball away then kevin quandt my old buddy from work runs in and picks it up, hiding behind rachael. The orcs skull away fromt he play to give the rotters a clean shot with the ball. THe rotters run the ball into the middle of the field and loosely cage it, mark ollive has a bad feeling about his no-reroll 1 die block but does it anyway, rolling a skull, but luckily its semi-away from the ball. Nick doolittle gets gang fucked by 3 orcs on the bottom of the field, he's stunned and lets 2 of the 3 orcs run up field to threaten the play. Joel who's barby-q i didn't attend on the 4th gets stunned as well but it matters less as it's just part of the line of scrimmage battle between rotters and bobs. neb double skulls to end the orcs 4th turn, turn 5 for the rotters, the ball is mid field and caged, the whole bottom side of the field is open-ish but theres no rotters down there to defend it. Taking a pretty large risk kevin quandt runs up just past the line of scrimmage with only 2 beastmen to semi-cage for him, lets see if the orcs can take advantage of this daring move by kevin. NOPE! mark schaub KILLS a lineman on a skull/pow by the lineman, and it's up to kevin quandt to kapitalize. K-quandt runs the ball downfield, rachael pushes a bob to 5-squares away and covers his rout to kevin, joe ercole makes a risky 1 die block but fucks up leaving a clear path to the ball for a blitzer who doesn't take it, instead he does a 1 die blitz to try to push josh out of bounds and skulls himself into the KO box. Kevin scores the first TD for the rotters ever.

With nekm dead and desz still ko'd, the goblin sees his first play of the game in turn 7 for the orcs, who are receiving a kick down 1-0 in the game. The orcs get a quick snap and a pretty good kick roll, the ball lands right near the line of scrimmage, which is lucky because the orcs left only their thrower in the backfield and theball could easily have landed 2 turns away from him. as it is the orcs only have 1 turn to get within td range and 1 turn to score, but they blow it failing to get anyone down field because of a double skull/pow roll which knocks down a rotter and a bob at the line. horrible luck thus far for the orcs. Mark schaub rushes in and skull/pow's the goblin sending it to the ko box and ending the last turn of the half on the very first move for the rotters, no big loss as a touchdown is impossible at this point. the orcs do some bashing but fail to hurt anyone too badly.

It's the start of the half, the rotters are ahead 1-0 and kicking off, they take a traditional agile-team defence setup, which is strange as they are playing against orcs, but this is their first game and they haven't really got a feel for their strengths and weaknesses yet. The goblin and blitzer for the orcs are still ko'd and that lineman will stay dead forever. It's a blitz! the rotters manage to knock down 3 of the orcs and knock one back, they are all on the line now, leaving the whole backfield in case the orcs can slip past. After a reroll on a one die skull, the orcs turn it over on another 1 die skull before they can be bothered to pick up the ball or create a hole in the defence to run thru. rachael gets a clear path to the ball but trips, is this the chance the orcs needed to recover from a dismal first turn? Mark ollive absorbs a block, and no hole has yet been created. The orcs grab the ball and fail to throw it to their black orc blocker who has 2 men on him, what a surprise teh throw failed. mark ollive takes the orc thrower out of the game with a skull/pow to end turn 2 for the rotters, the ball isnt protected. the orcs make a hole at the top of the field and manage to pick up the ball with a blitzer who brings it near that hole. Slid. get's badly hurt for the first casualty of the game against the rotters, looks like luck is changing for the orcs. The orcs manage to create another hole on the bottom of the field and another in the middle, the whole rotter defence looks horrible at this point. A lone lineman even manages to push the monster back. For the rotters turn, rachael stands up in position to receive a pass next turn if it gets to that, nick doolittle blitzes the ball but just pushes it back, the rest of the defence sort of recovers but theres still a huge hole mid field. At the beginning of turn 4 for the orcs the ball has nick doolittle and mark ollive right on it, but the defence is very shoddy and tehres a good chance the orcs can get the ball past it this turn. Luckily nate clifford is in the backfield in case that happens, but before it even comes to that, the ball carrier fails his dodge and drops the ball! mark ollive miraculously picks up the ball and rachael covers his ass. josh falls on his ass away from the play to end the rotters turn. The orcs seem to have given up on this game, they don't even try to rush the ball they just start smackin the rotters but fail to do much harm. mark ollive gets within 2 yards of the end zone and rachael knocks over the only guy who could stop a touchdown, forming a loose semi-cage against the sideline with nick. mark falls on his ass trying to hurt a lineman far away from the play. nate furlong gets gang raped by 3 orcs and falls down, oo darn. mark ollive is in the end zone.

All three ko'd orcs stay out, jesus these orcs have bad luck. It's turn 7, the score is 2-0 and the orcs are receiving with only 8 guys and noone who can reliably pickup the ball. The kick goes to the bottom sideline where zakuxm the bob pushes joel the rotter back to create an almost-hole (there will be a hole if they can push back the second line of defence behind where joel was. The rest of the orc team piles around the ball, then a blitzer named duxb fails to pick it up. furlong gets a good blitz in on a bob but just knocks him down, the rest of the rotters pile onto the orcs to hopefully make turn 8 a painful one. An orc knocks down my little sister rachael, pushes back joe ercole, another orc knocks over furlong, and duxb manages to pick up the ball this time, making a pass to a black orc blocker who catches it. the orcs end their 8th and final turn of the second half with a -2 dice block against a rotter which comes out skull/ sk-pow resulting in a stunned orc. Some inconsiquential bashing on the rotters part ends the game 2-0 with 50,000 dollars in winnings and an FF increase for the rotters.”
