“The Valkyries got their first win in a bashy affair, but it was them dishing out the punishment for the most part this time! The snotlings were tougher than the ogres at the start, with one BH ogre on turn 2 and no snotlings out until turn 4. After that, however, they were all gone by the end of the first half, largely due to the fact that I tied up all of the ogres and blocked them from reaching the ball, so it was the Snotlings crowding around my carrier to be 3-diced out of the way. A few came back for more, but it wasn't long before they were back in the dugout again.
The ball was actually worked loose at one point on my drive, but the fans threw it straight to a Lineman open on the other side of the field for a fairly easy score. That same lineman then used an opening created by the Snow troll, who did a stellar job of keeping the ogres on the deck, to 3-die the ball, pick it up and stall to the end for an easy 2-0 win!
