Only Angels had the audicity to drink..and keep drinking...trying to shake the demon in his head. In fact he was so loaded by the time they pulled up at Warlizard Swamp he was Buzzing! He even managed, in his drunken stupor, to slip a Micky Finn into what was left and leave it in the Lizards dugout. But in what transpired no one could confirm if it had taken any effect.
Everything now was just a blur. Things started nice enough. Opening drive KOd almost every saurus and ended in a TD pass from MorningSong to BlackBerry. But then the skinks came into their own. A swooping TD to end the half and quite a few fouls along the way. Things even looked ok in the 2nd half when Conspiracy intercepted a pass that could have swung the game. But then Angels just kept getting worse. Three times he hit something only to double skull the frenzy attack! the CW was stranded and a torrent of skinks over ran him and scampered for the goal line. At this point it seemed even the Wizard was drinking as he unleashed a harmless fireball instead of a lightning attack on the lone skink...2-1 Warlizards and that was that. No one has yet heard from the GREAT UNSEEN, but with only one match to play in a losing season no one is in any hurry for him to show up.”
