“A hard hitting first turn as the Vengeance sent a line man straight to the injury box, only for Fullpaw the snow troll to blow a 3d Block on the scrimmage line against Maria badly hurting himself!

The beauty wasted no time punching a hole in the flank and pouring forward, putting Oaken Shieldbreaker under enormous pressure to secure the ball, with the Norse caught flat footed on the half way line they retreated to cover the advancing ratmen, building a pocket for themselves to pass their way to relative safety. The rest of the half was dominated by the Vengeance as their pocket held and 6 lightly armoured rats were sent to the injury boxes. last 4 mins of the 1st half the beauty looked like they were on for a 1 turn sprint to the goal line but Presciousss still suffering from the blow to the head that KOd him mis-read the play book and rushed the ball forward, instead of passing.

A short kick to start the 2nd half leaves the ball high in the Beauty half, they secure it quickly and set up a drive down the right flank, as the Humans flood across the pitch chasing the nimble rat men they fall for the set up and the rats gnaw there way through the centre and sprint to the opposite flank leaving the norsemen stranded against the touch line! With only one norse lineman able to get a tackle zone onto the ball carrier the rest of the team are scrabbling to get back into position, Pallas the Skaven thrower dodges away, ball in hand trips but uses his tail to balance himself and all the humans can do is watch him sail into the end zone 1-1!!


A long kick drops the ball deep into the Norse half as they begin to inflict some violence on the rats however in their frenzied state they leave the middle of the pitch open! Shield breaker fumbles the pick up and now the rats again pour forward, Black Swan the fattest player on the pitch by some way covers half of it in a single run and exerts a TZ on the Norse thrower as he scrabbles for the ball. The norse again are heading the wrong way retreating into their own half rat marking one on one.

In scenes normally seen in Elf-bowl Shield breaker dodges away, picks up the ball, finds himself half way up his own half in clear space and launches a short pass, his heavy weight gym work paying off as his strong arm turns the pass into a bullet, its a straight catch and Asmund the line man is on his toes, the ball just 2 squares away from the norse end zone is now 5 from the Rats! with not a sewer dweller in sight!

Theres now two separate fights going on one in each half 5 v 4 and 4 v5 and as the Gutter runners sprint back to their own lines the berserkers charge out to meet them forgetting to cover their team mate they create a gap and the rat-men are onto the ball carrier, down he goes dropping the ball straight into the paws of his assailant. The rats take ful advantage of their nimbleness again and they edge away protecting the ball carrier in their own half while exposing the free space deep in their opponents. Again the norse are left to try and man mark but theres not enough of them Shield breaker steps short of exerting TZs to try and intercept the coming pass.
While at the other end of the pitch the Big men of the North clear a path onto the Skaven ball carrier, its 4 on 4 down here and with the heavy Norse facing off against the nimble but weak Gutter runners, Mata Hari chooses to pass the ball, but he's caught dodging away clatters to the floor and the balls into the crowd its thrown between the fans before making its way onto the pitch in no mans land! Dabria can't believe his luck he's chases the bouncing ball down scooping it up and turning around. Sensing an opportunity the big men of the north throw some heavy blocks all the rats are down, ones even in the crowd! however the fastest creature on the pitch can still get there Shield breaker tries to exert some pressure with a TZ , but he's too quick dodging away and off down the pitch, summoning every last piece of energy he accelerates away but its too much for him and down he goes on the final GFI. Asmund ball in hand is free and clear and in he goes just as the final whistle blows!!
For the third game in a row the norse score a last turn TD for a 2-1 victory.
