“The Brogres played their best ball. They benefited from some early elf GFIs that went poorly and were able to wall up the ball in their own endzone for the first half.
The elves were down to about 6 players in the second half and fought like mad. The ogres played a very patient and brutalizing game just waiting to capitalize on some elf 1s. With a luck ball bounce caught by an ogre, they were able to slowly trudge for the first TD on their own turn 7 of the second half.
It rained for the elves final 2 turns. It was a decent kick. And even with a pick up and pass and the blodging blitzer running the ball into scoring distance, the Brogres were able to 3 die knock him down. # players sat on the ball in the rain. The same elf got up, dodges into 3 TZs, picked up the ball on a 6, dodged out and made 2 gfis with NO RRs to tie it at the very end.
It was a very close and tough match. And while I wish the dice didnt get hot in the end, an ogre tie against any point eared team is an ogre win in my book. ”
