“The first half was injury player removal palooza. Between failing bloodlust and hurting a player on my first turn (kicking) and the front line being BH or Ko'd on the opponents first receiving turn, I had 7 players to work with by turn 2. We used the pro and the dodging and the hypno to try to make it difficult. But elves being elves, I mean I'm down players and trying to defend. So they eventually scored. I ended the first drive with 4 players on the field.
We were able to make it close by scoring in the second half to tie it. AG 5 vamps can be kinda spicy. But we weren't able to keep the elves away from the endzone for the loss.
Hats off to Thresh. This is my second time playing him and he always starts off close to board wiping my team. The man CANNOT roll a stun. Just waiting for the dice to swing back around (and to leave this team in a tomb where vampires belong after their run on Blackbox 3).”
