Don't ever underestimate loners and do try to score.

Dice and a missclick went my way in the first half, giving me the ball and lots of players to hit. So I did that, with little result, figuring I'd just keep the steamroll going in the second half and score then.

Unfortunately, that didn't pan out. Krox stood up to 8 dice (blodge, so yeah), ball got 1d sacked (wrackle, so fair odds) and the loner army recovered it and got it safe enough. Chaining an Ulf out didn't work out, so yeah. Whoops.

2 turns to counterscore seemed easy enough until the loner army intervened again. Once more, chainpushes failed to free the required player, but a non-intercepted 4+ pass bailed me out in the end.

The undefeated Norse record still stands, but barely.”
