The most illustrious of bowls! Nothing save the National Championship brings more prestige, and Ottawa has made it in only their second season.
But..
Starr. The MIGHTY STARR. Well, you see, HE got Ottawa to this bowl. HE brought the team to the mighty heights they have reached. HE reached out and found Brandi West and brought the powerful Wight (*pop* darling, I'm really just a cheerleader y'know) to the team.
Well, just like last year's bowl, Starr has managed to PISS OFF EVERY BEE-BEES PLAYER.
Arnaud Weck, the teams replacement Mummy from our last meeting with the Go For It's, decided to literally throw the play, tossing himself at the feet of the humans, and leaving Starr WIDE OPEN with the ball. Kirill was then tapped lightly by one Mean Gene, and Kirill threw a FALL, removing himself from the entire match!
Heshel tripped on his own feet trying to 'recover' the ball, preventing any recovery after Starr got sacked and Chibuike also magically found that the grass next to Starr was actually venomous and had to be carried out in a stretcher after 'accidentally scratching himself'.
Guy Beaulieu claims to have received a permanent injury to his knee after Pillsbury shoved him carelessly to the side, rather than stay and try to remove players who might hit Starr.
Well the rest of the team stayed and put in a rather good showing, avoiding a humiliating 2-0 loss, it was very close, and Starr himself, was so isolated and alone that he managed to do nothing. Not a thing. All match. He was wrestled down, sacked, punched, fouled, beaten, stabbed, scratched and cursed - plus whatever it was the Go For Its did to him!
Next season, Ottawa will return, WITH A VENGEANCE!
And STARR SHALL BE THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE TEAM!
Thanks for the match tussock!”
