“This has to be one of the most one sided games I've ever seen.. and somehow I lost?

We start the match with the ball. The high elves snake eye GFI's twice, and we have them completely dominated - so much so that we try to score with a Saurus. We failed of course, but that's fine. ... Until the high elves pass 9, yes NINE checks to steal the ball and score. 1-0 for them. Fine.

We then do a quite respectable quick score, and we give a serious concussion to the Str 4 Mighty Blow Blitzer. 1-1. Nuffle says they can't one turn giving us a Blitz! to prevent it. Nuffle also threw them a double skull just for funsies.

The elves then set up for a quick touchdown. We put lots of saurii and skinks everywhere and force them to make rolls. Snake eyes on the catch! They fail. Great. We easily cover the ball.. and we do an idiotic frenzy we shouldn't have that frees some elves. No matter. We go, and fail the team re-roll to pick the ball up which would have been perfectly covered. Fine. They blitz our screen, and make FIVE more dice, and score. 2-1.

Ok, sure. They kick ultra deep (4 times this match they kick and land the ball exactly on the sideline or endzone) We smash the collar bone of the Str 4 Agi 5 player, and move forward to score in 2 turns. We cover all the elves, and we have players around the ball. No problem - they make EIGHT dice rolls, take the ball down, long bomb, catch in multiple tackle zones, and score. 3-1.

FINE. WE STILL HAVE TIME TO TIE THIS GAME.

We smash the ankle of the OTHER super star Blitzer! This is OUR GAME DAMN IT. We move forward to score in 2 turns. All we need is a 4+ catch. Nope, can't do it. It's ok, we have 3 tackle zones on the ball! So... SIX more dice later (and yes, in every one of these highlighted dice rolls they have no team re-roll left) they have the ball back. WE CAN STILL SCORE DAMN IT. We surround the sidestepper who can stop us, smash him down, blitz down the ball, land it with another tackle zone on it, put multiple paths to score on our turn. And yes, you guessed it, they roll five more dice, and score again.

We're so flustered by this point (we've been dominating the match entirely, position, cas, control of everything, we haven't been failing dice, they're up to 5 or 6 different snake eyes and double skulls by now) that we can't set up our one turn properly, which doesn't matter as we can't pick the ball up anyway.

So, while the score may have been 4-1, Shrieking Bloodstorm absolutely dominated this match. Yes we did. And anyone who says otherwise, is probably paying attention to little things like results.
